ABOUT THE ROLE

-Technical project management of wind and solar projects - leading projects from early development to successful completion by effective planning, monitoring, de-risking, controlling, and reporting
-Participation in due diligence and review of solar and wind projects, project management of 30% design package and tender scope of work, support in selection of subcontractors and act as technical project manager on the project throughout construction
-Technical interface to BOP contractor, OEM, transmission providers and utility
-Identify and originate project development opportunities of solar and wind projects throughout Spain
-Lead the full development of projects until the ready to build status
-Manage permitting process with national and local authorities, grid operators, regulators, market operators and other relevant stakeholders
-Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
-Continuously review and optimize project management processes

ABOUT YOU

Preferably, we expect you to enrich our business with the following experience and skills:

-Experience from the renewable industry; preferably from construction of wind or solar PV plants or maybe you have experience from oil and gas industry
-Preferable you have an electrical engineering background combined with project management experience
-You are able to coordinate across various engineering disciplines and to understand the risk and opportunities of a design
-Strong knowledge of regulatory framework including Spanish grid connection requirements
-Ability to see the big picture while working with many tasks and short deadlines
-Great facilitation skills among people of different cultures and backgrounds
-Results-oriented and focused on achieving goals with the team
-Outstanding people and communication skills (English and Spanish)
